*SEM-ST-2013 invites papers that describe system description papers of participating systems.  The only accepted format for submitted papers is PDF. The papers must be submitted no later than April 12, 2013 (23:59 pm PST).


Papers should be submitted using the START system:

Papers should follow the *SEM 2013 guidelines:

with the exception that :

paper reviewing will not be blind, so you can include authors' names, affiliations and references in the submitted paper.

Additionally, the please note the following restrictions and requirements when writing the paper.


*SEM Shared Task 2013: Semantic Textual Similarity: System Description Paper


Paper Title:  The title of your paper should be of the form "<ID>-<TASK>: <Paper Title>"  where <ID> is the team ID used when registering with *SEM ST 2013, <TASK> is either CORE or TYPED, or CORE_TYPED (assuming you participated in both evaluations,  and <Paper Title> is the title of your paper.

Page Limit:  For each team paper, 4 pages for the first system corresponding to the first task and 2 extra pages for the second task, then 1 page extra for each additional system, up to a maximum of 8 pages + 2 pages for references.


Papers should clearly describe the methods used in sufficient detail to ensure it is reproducible.

Papers will be reviewed by other task participants. We expect that task participants are happy to review papers in the *SEM Shared Task.


The schedule is very tight and deadlines will be strictly followed.
