TRALIMA-ITZULIK research group
TRALIMA-ITZULIK addresses the study of translation and cultural transfer within the fields of literature and audiovisual media from a historical and descriptive perspective and by making use of new technologies (Digital Humanities). The research lines of the group are focused on the analysis of the linguistic, cultural and social mechanisms that occur in the translation of written and audiovisual media across different historical contexts. The historical perspective and the descriptive translation studies methodology, together with the use of new technologies, are the distinguishing features of the group.
The poster summarizes the main results (in terms of networks of excellence, collaborations, conferences and tools) of the research group obtained by merging the fields of Translation Studies and Digital Humanities.
